The island of Culebrita has three very distinct beaches. The most preferred one is Tortuga. By its name you can deduct the main activity nature carries there. You can actually anchor your boat and within a half hour find many greens swimming and looking at you and wondering what the heck you are doing on their grazing property. The one to windward is called trash beach. This is because all the debris is driven there by the wind and among the flotsam are treasures to be found. Third but not least is west beach. Surrounded by coral reefs and relatively shallow it keeps the guys with the big yachts away.
